KATHMANDU, June 21: Three more Nepali nationals living in foreign countries succumbed to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the past week, the Non-resident Nepali Association (NRNA) said on Sunday.
The NRNA, the umbrella organization of Nepali nationals living abroad, stated that three Nepali nationals working in Qatar died of the viral disease in the past week.

"With this, the number of Nepali nationals dying of coronavirus in foreign countries has climbed to 130," the NRNA said in its weekly update. Likewise, more than 10,000 Nepali nationals living in 18 countries who were diagnosed with COVID-19 recovered in the past week.
As of today, 17,792 Nepali nationals living in various countries have been diagnosed with the disease, according to the weekly update released by the NRNA.
"A total of 26,402 Nepali nationals across the world including Nepal were diagnosed with the coronavirus," it said.
The NRNA said that 3,108 Nepali nationals who were stranded in various countries due to coronavirus have been repatriated in the past three weeks.
Similarly, the dead bodies of 40 Nepali nationals who died due to various reasons in foreign countries were sent to Nepal in the past week.
