NTB appoints Devkota as Honorary Tourism Ambassador

KATHMANDU, Aug 13: Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has appointed Nepali journalist, Chiranjibi Raj Devkota, as the Honorary Tourism Ambassador to Victoria State in Australia.

KATHMANDU, Aug 13: Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has appointed Nepali journalist, Chiranjibi Raj Devkota, as the Honorary Tourism Ambassador to Victoria State in Australia.



He was been appointed for two year's term as the Honorary Tourism Ambassador for the Australian State of Victoria, NTB said, adding the appointment aimed at giving impetus to the promotional programs of Nepal's tourism in Australia.



Devkota is deputed to undertake participation in various programs as the NTB representative and coordinate with tourism authorities to draw Aussie holidaymakers to Nepal.



The Honorary Ambassador with a Master's degree in Mass Communications and Journalism is the Editor-in-Chief of MNTV, which broadcasts in Nepali language from Australia.



He has also worked as News Chief in News 24 TV station in Nepal for a short stint. RSS
