After losing the toss and being invited to bat first, Karnali Yaks scored 149 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs in the ongoing match at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.

Shikar Dhawan scored a half century for Karnali with an unbeaten 72 runs off 51 balls, hitting 4 fours and 5 sixes. Dhawan formed an unbeaten 65-run partnership for the sixth wicket with Jisan Maksud. Maksud scored 14 unbeaten runs off 11 balls, hitting 1 four.
Chadwick Walton scored 21 runs, Babar Hayat scored 13 and Gulsan Jha contributed 2 runs. Arjun Gharti got out for 4 runs while opener Dev Khanal failed to open the account.
In bowling, Kathmandu’s Gerhard Erasmus took 2 wickets and Karan KC, Nathan Sowter and Dipesh Kandel took 1 wicket each.
