KATHMANDU, Dec 7: In the 13th match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), Karnali Yaks set a target of 134 runs for Biratnagar Kings, thanks to half-centuries from batters Dev Khanal and William Bosisto. Karnali was restricted to a low score due to Pratish GC's tight bowling.
In the ongoing match at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Biratnagar Kings won the toss and chose to field first. Karnali Yaks struggled in the initial three overs, with Biratnagar's bowlers dominating. Indian star batter Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed for only 5 runs, while another batter, Chadwick Walton, was sent off to pavilion for just 1 run.
Afterward, Dev and William came to the crease and stabilized Karnali's innings, forming a 102-run partnership. Dev scored 53 runs off 48 balls, including 4 fours and 2 sixes.

Similarly, William faced 49 balls and contributed 66 runs, including 5 fours and 3 sixes.
In the end, Karnali's innings was bowled out in 20 overs, reaching a total of 133 runs.
To restrict Karnali to a moderate score, Biratnagar's bowler Pratish GC took 4 wickets for just 17 runs in 4 overs. He claimed 3 wickets in the final 20th over, during which one batter was run out, which contributed in making this over a maiden over.
