KATHMANDU, Dec 16: Karnali Yaks have set a target of 102 runs for Sudurpaschim Royals in the last league match of Nepal Premier League (NPL) on Monday.
After losing the toss and being invited to bat first, Karnali Yaks managed to score only 101 runs after losing all the wickets in the allotted 20 overs at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground.

Apart from Omani player Zeeshan Maqsood scoring 30 runs for Karnali, other players could not perform significantly.
In the bowling front, Harmeet Singh took 3 wickets for 17 runs in 4 overs. Captain Dipendra Singh Airee took 2 wickets for 20 runs in 4 overs with excellent bowling. He also contributed to 2 run outs. Scott Kuggeleijn took 2 wickets for 29 runs in 4 overs. Saif Ali Zaib took 1 wicket for 14 runs in 4 overs.
If Karnali defeat Sudurpaschim by 12 runs or more, they will overtake Janakpur Bolts and reach the top two.
