KATHMANDU, May 31: Noted lyricist Dr. Ram Man Trishit passed away on Tuesday morning. He was 71.
His body is kept in Nepal Academy until 11 am for final tribute.[break]
According to his family source he breathed his last while undergoing treatment in Medicare hospital at Chabahil, where he was admitted three weeks ago.
His last rites will be performed in Pashupati Aryaghat on Tuesday, said family sources.
He has composed more than a dozen popular songs in Nepali.He is survived by wife and a son.
PM offers tributes to lyricist Trishit and industrialist Dugar
Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal offered last tributes to the deceased body of noted lyricist Dr. Ram Man Trishit and famous industrialist Tolaram Dugar on Tuesday. He reached Nepal Academy, offered flowers to the mortal body of Trishit and extended his condolences to the bereaved family.
Khanal expressed grief by issuing a press release on Tuesday over the demise of industrialist Dugar.
He was President of the TM Dugar group. Dugar passed away on May 29, due to heart attack. He was 81.
