KAILALI, April 3: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has ruled out the possibility of any electoral alliance between his party and the KP Sharma Oli-led CPN-UML in the upcoming local elections.
Speaking at a press meet at Dhangadhi on Sunday, Chairman Nepal referred to KP Sharma Oli as a reactionary. "We are still discussing cooperation between the progressive forces against the reactionaries in the upcoming local elections."

Chairman Nepal, who reached Sudurpaschim Province to welcome the entry of Chief Ashok Chand of Bedkot Municipality of Kanchanpur and another ward chairman of the same municipality, also mentioned that the wave of people joining the CPN (Unified Socialist) is on the rise.
Responding to a query, he also said that discussions were being held among the party’s central members to involve the Nepali Congress in the Far Western Provincial Government.
