KATHMANDU, Sept 3: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has accused the five-party alliance of making the country poor within a year. He said that the five-party alliance made the country miserable, and now the election to be held on November 20 will help improve the condition of Nepal.
“The election on November 20 will bring victory to all Nepali people. In addition to strengthening democracy, territorial integrity will not be lost,” Chairman Oli said at the party;s function held in Sunsari on Saturday. “UML will form the government by getting a majority in the next election.”
He said that for the elections, UML cadres should not be like earthworms as when someone touches them, it backs down and but should act as snakes and should to ready to bite with its two teeth when situation arrives. “It should also sting if someone touches it,”Oli said, “The sovereign right of the people should not be misused by the use of money.”

Chairman Oli also claimed that leader Bhagwati Choudhary lost the election as the government agencies went in Sunsari Constituency No 3 twice. "Bhagwati Choudhary was defeated twice from this area. This was due to changing of the ballot box and capturing the booths. However, in the upcoming election, this shall not repeat.”
UML leader Chaudhary was defeated in the Constituent Assembly elections of 2070 BS and the House of Representatives elections held in 2074 BS. She was defeated by leader Bijay Kumar Gachchdar in both the elections.
