POKHARA, May 20: Chumnubri Rural Municipality of Gorkha, which lies in the highlands of the district above 3,000 meters and is connected to Tibet has not reported a single case of COVID-19 so far.
So far, the virus has been reported in Gharche Rural Municipality of Gorkha situated above 2,700 meters above sea level.

According to Bhimsen Shrestha, the chief of administration for Chumnubri Rural Municipality, there has not been a single PCR test conducted in the rural municipality so far.
Though there are some cases of common cold and cough in the village, no case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in the municipality due to the lack of tests.
