No alternative to fresh polls: Thapa

KATHMANDU, Oct 12: Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N), Kamal Thapa, has said there is no alternative to going for a new election as there is no possibility of reinstating of the Constituent Assembly (CA) at present.



Talking to media persons at Tribhuvan International Airport on Friday after his return from New Delhi, India after participating in the All India Senior Tennis Competition, Kamal Thapa said to put aside election for various reasons is a conspiracy to finish democracy.[break]



Thapa bagged first position in the competition held on Thursday. He had defeated last year´s winner Setu of Kerala in the singles and Setu and Satya Narayan in the doubles.Yogesh of Gujarat joined Thapa from Nepal side in the doubles.
