Nimble beats Juddhodaya

KATHMANDU: Nimble Boarding School beat Juddhodaya Secondary School 2-1 on Monday in the boys´ section of the Kathmandu Valley-wide qualifiers for the Coca-Cola Cup Inter-school Boys´ and Girls´ National Football Tournament. Pradeep Thapa and Kiran Gurung scored a goal each for Nimble while Pradyumna Thagunna netted one for Juddhodaya in the match played at the Sano Gaucharan Ground, Kathmandu. Bal Srijanalaya School defeated Paragon Public School 2-0 with goals from Manjit Lama and Bishwa Pradhan.



Meanwhile, The Celebration Co-Ed struggled past Grace Academy 4-3 in tie-breaker after the regulation time ended in a 2-2 draw. Rajan Lama had scored a brace for The Celebration in the normal time while Purna Bahadur Gurung and Ashish Rasaili had netted a goal each for Grace. Likewise, Kathmandu Valley Higher Secondary School edged past GEMS School 3-1. Tsering Wangchuk Lama, Ang Tsering Sherpa and Laxman Raut scored a goal each for Kathmandu Valley. Norbu Sherpa netted a consolation goal for GEMS.
