During the visit the team requested media to play active role in disseminating news in order to ease the pathos of the Nepalese people passing through a tragic time due to recent earthquakes.
Chief commissioner of the commission Krishna Hari Baskota appreciated the transparent role played by private media.
"At this time of crisis also newsmen have been working hard, without saying day nights, to collect news and this is the high time any journalist need to perform its duty well", said Baskota.
Likewise, Pratik Pradhan editor of the Nagarik National Daily asked the team to request government not hide any source of information.
"We journalists would become happy when government fairly disclose any source of information," said Pradhan."unhide of the news sources at some extent would help in crisis management", added he.
The two other commissioners in the team were Kiran Pokhrel and Yasoda Timilsina.
