KATHMANDU, Dec 19: Nepal Republic Media Limited has felicitated the newly- elected president of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ), Nirmala Sharma, wishing her a successful tenure.
NRM’s Managing Director Sambridhi Gyawali felicitated Sharma at NRM office in Bagdurbar, Kathmandu on Thursday and presented her a plaque of honor.

During the meeting, there was also a discussion on how a collaboration can be made between the NRM and the FNJ, which is the umbrella organization of journalists working across the country.
FNJ President Sharma thanked MD Gyawali for her well wishes and said that it was a pleasure for her and the FNJ to have an institutional collaboration with the NRM.
Sharma was elected as the president in the FNJ election held on December 13. She is the first female president of the FNJ. She has been a member of the FNJ for the past 28 years.
