NEW NLICC ENGLISH CENTRE LAUNCHED IN KATHMANDU

KATHMANDU, March 26: Neo Lingua International Career Center (NLICC), Nepal’s newest English language center, was launched in Kathmandu on Friday last week by Peter Budd, Australia’s Ambassador to Nepal.

KATHMANDU, March 26: Neo Lingua International Career Center (NLICC), Nepal’s newest English language center, was launched in Kathmandu on Friday last week by Peter Budd, Australia’s Ambassador to Nepal.


According to a press releases issued by NLICC, the center is founded on the latest thinking in language learning to assist the Nepali students develop English capabilities needed for successful international studies and career. It draws upon the depth of experience and the international standard curriculum from UTS Insearch, which provides English and pathways to study at the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia.

Attending the launching event were Minister for Education, Science and Technology Giriraj Mani Pokhrel and former minister Pradip Nepal, who is also an advisory committee member of NLICC. Other NLICC advisory committee member present on the occasion was Prof Govindaman Singh Karkee who is an Historian at Tri-Chandra College.


 “At NLICC, we have created the ideal learning environment for students who aspire to study overseas,” said Jacinta Sureka. 


“We have highly-qualified and experienced Cambridge University CELTA-accredited teachers, a fully digital curriculum and strong partnerships with international institutions that are a direct pathway to world-class overseas education for Nepali students,” said Sureka.


“The result is that we can now teach international university-level English right here at our Kathmandu center, with classes commencing on Monday,” she added.
