NEPALGUNJ, Sept. 29: Vice-President Parmanand Jha has expressed the belief that the rights of people would be addressed in the new constitution to be promulgated after the second Constituent Assembly (CA) election.

Addressing the program organized after unveiling the statue of a social worker, Autar Dei Kasaudhan Baishya Chaudharain, constructed at the premises of the Bheri Zonal Hospital, Vice-President Jha said he was confident that political, economic, social and cultural rights of the people would be written as the constitution would be the document of rights of the Nepali people. Expressing worries over the increasing number of ´takers´ rather than ´givers´ in the society, he said that donation provided by Chaudharain in education and health sectors even as she was uneducated, is inspirational to us.

On the occasion, various persons including Chief Judge of the Appellate Court, Nepalgunj, Keshav Prasad Mainali, members of the Statue Unveiling Management Committee, Ramarani Gupta and Radheshyam Baishya stressed that the government should respect the contribution of the late Chaudharain.

Similarly, social workers – Radheshyam Baishya, Jagadish Prasad Baishya and Mohanlal Baishya were honoured for their important contribution in installing the statue at a program chaired by Chief of the hospital, Pitambar Subedi.

Chaudharain had donated 22 bighas of land for different organizations including nine bighas to the hospital.
