KATHMANDU, April 29: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Monday increased marginally by 0.07 points to close at 1,980.34 points.
The secondary market opened at 1,980.27 points and fell around six points in the first half of trading hours. In the second half, the market also increased around six points before it closed for the day.

The sensitive index that measures the performance of ‘A’ class companies also increased 1.14 points. The daily turnover inclined to Rs 2.95 billion from Rs 2.68 billion on Sunday.
Four groups were the gainers of the day. Finance added the largest of 89.22 points, followed by development bank, banking and mutual fund. Of the nine losing groups, non-life insurance declined the highest of 52.66 points.
Among individual companies, 99 were recorded as gainers whereas 128 were the losers.
Pokhara Finance Ltd had the largest turnover of its shares worth Rs 175.40 million, while the company was also recorded as the topmost gainer. People’s Power Limited plunged by the highest of six percent in its market value.
