Nepal which has already lost the first match against Scotland on Wednesday had a poor start of its innings after being invited to bat. Nepal lost its early wicket as Mahesh Chettri in 2.3 over when it was struggling with just 8 runs.Sharad Vesawakar chipped in 30 off 66 balls that included two boundaries.
However, other batsmen Basanta Regmi (19 ), Avinash Karna (18), Gyanendra Malla (16), Pradeep Airee (16) and Prithu Banskota (16) could not make any noticeable contribution to the team. Captain Paras Khadka contributed 10 runs.
Alasdair Evans claimed three wickets for Scotland.
