SAFF Championship

KATHMANDU, Sept 4: The 12th edition of the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship is taking place in Dhaka of Bangladesh today.
Nepal is playing against Pakistan today at Bangabandhu Stadium at 3:45 pm, according to All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).
Similarly, Nepal will play its second match against Bhutan on September 6 and final group match against Bangladesh on September 8 under the SAFF Championship. The Championship will take place till September 15.
Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are competing in the Championship. Nepal, Bangladesh,Pakistan and Bhutan are in group 'A',while India, Maldives and Sri Lanka are in group 'B'.
Kiran Kumar Limbu, Bikesh Kuthu and Alen Neupane are goalkeepers while Dinesh Rajbanshi, Devendra Thamang, Biraj Maharjan, Ananta Tamang, Aditya Chaudhary, Rohit Chand and Suman Aryal will play as defender in the Nepali team.
Similarly, Hemanta Thapa Magar, Heman Gurung,Bishal Rai, Sunil Bal, Sujal Shrestha and Nirajan Khadka will play as midfielders while Bharat Khawas, Bimal Gharti Magar, Nabayug Shrestha and Anjan Bista are forwarders of the Nepali team. RSS
