KATHMANDU, April 20: A national team of the Japan Goju-Ryo Karate Do Mission Association left here today for India, representing Nepal in the International Karate and Kick-boxing Championship to be held in Patna, India. The 35-member team is led by association's chief instructor KB Rana (Kaji).
DANG, April 19: The departmental team Nepal Police Club’s Chandrakala Lamgade has improved her own record in women’s shot put as she won the gold medal. She improved her record by throwing the iron ball to 12.04 meters to win the gold. Her previous record was 11.46 centimeters at the National Sports Council (NSC) Championship.
KATHMANDU, March 27: Athlete Ajit Yadav is set to receive Rs 60,000 as monthly salary, as announced by Nepal Athletics Association at an event held in Kathmandu on Tuesday. Yadav has won historic gold medal for Nepal in Asian-level athletics championship.

KATHMANDU, Dec 17: Nepal lifted the title of the first International Wheelchair Cricket Championship with a 54-run win over Bangladesh on Saturday. At the final match at TU Cricket Ground, Nepal was invited for batting after losing the toss and made a total of 161 runs losing three wickets in the allotted 20 overs. In reply, Bangladesh was bowled out for 106 in 18.2 overs.
