KATHMANDU, Feb 8: Nepal recorded zero COVID-19 deaths in the past 24 hours.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), the country recorded zero COVID-19 deaths on Wednesday.


Meanwhile, the Health Ministry has recorded 134 new cases of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) from 3,567 PCR tests conducted in the past 24 hours. Likewise, 118 people who had earlier tested positive for the COVID-19 have recovered.


Nepal has witnessed the death of 18 people due to COVID-19 in the past 10 days alone. A total of 120 people succumbed to COVID-19 in the past one month.


As of Wednesday afternoon, Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll stands at 2,047 and the case tally has reached 272,349.
