KATHMANDU, Sept 2: At least 12 deaths linked to coronavirus were recorded in the past 24 hours, taking Nepal's COVID-19 death toll to 251, the Ministry of Health and Population said on Wednesday.
According to the ministry, six males and six females succumbed to COVID-19.

Two women aged 55 and 18 from Chitwan, one woman each from Kathmandu (89), Lalitpur (70), Tanahun (20) and Kapilvastu (60) died of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Similarly, two septuagenarian men from Kathmandu, one 97-year-old from Bara and one each from Bhaktpaur (40), Dhading (47) and Chitwan (65) succumbed to the novel coronavirus disease.
"With this, the number of people dying of coronavirus has climbed to 251," Spokesperson for the Health Ministry, Jageshwar Gautam said.
