KATHMANDU, Nov 10: Nepal recorded 440 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday along with 474 recoveries and six deaths, according to the latest information provided by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 6,814 samples were tested for COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 387 PCR and 53 antigen tests were positive for the deadly virus.

There are currently 7,761 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 7,005 are in home isolation, 514 in institutional isolation, 189 in ICU’s and 53 on ventilators. Similarly, 99 are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,460 people have died of the viral disease across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 202 cases of the virus on Wednesday. Of them, 155 were recorded in Kathmandu, 15 in Bhaktapur, and 32 in Lalitpur districts.
