KATHMANDU, May 4: Nepal recorded 43 new cases of COVID-19 along with 50 recoveries and one death from the deadly virus on Thursday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 1,301 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 33 PCR and 10 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.
How to help vulnerable groups
There are currently 202 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 26 are in institutional isolation, twelve in ICUs and one on ventilator.
Meanwhile, the health ministry has urged one and all to take caution and also get themselves a booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
