KATHMANDU, July 27: Nepal recorded 3,899 new cases of COVID-19 along with 1,778 recoveries and 20 deaths on Tuesday.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 12,655 PCR tests and 4,863 antigen tests were conducted on Tuesday. Of them, 2,726 PCR tests and 1,173 antigen tests turned out to be positive for COVID-19.

So far, 9,758 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in Nepal.
There are a total of 24,938 COVID-19 patients in home isolation, 2,898 in institutional isolation, 611 in ICUs and 171 on ventilators as of Tuesday afternoon.
Likewise, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 774 cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 475 cases were detected in Kathmandu, 132 in Bhaktapur and 167 in Lalitpur districts.
