KATHMANDU, April 15: Nepal recorded 14 new cases of COVID-19 along with 55 recoveries and zero death from the virus on Friday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 3,903 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 14 PCR tests turned out to be positive for the virus.

There are currently 448 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 419 are in self-isolation, 19 in institutional isolation, 9 in ICUs and one on ventilator. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,951 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, The Kathmandu valley recorded one case of COVID-19 on Friday. The case was recorded in Kathmandu district.
