KATHMANDU, April 29: Nepal recorded 14 new cases of COVID-19 along with 19 recoveries and zero death from the virus on Friday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 2,771 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 13 PCR tests and one antigen test turned out to be positive for the virus.

There are currently 244 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 237 are in self-isolation, six in institutional isolation and one in ICU. So far, 11,951 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 10 cases of COVID-19 on the day. All 10 cases were recorded in Kathmandu district.
