KATHMANDU, May 3: Nepal recorded 32 new cases of COVID-19 along with 23 recoveries and zero death from the virus on Tuesday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
A total of 3,094 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 29 PCR and three antigen tests turned out to be positive for the virus.

There are currently 218 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 216 are in self-isolation, one in institutional isolation, and one in ICU. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,951 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu valley recorded 25 cases of COVID-19 on the same day, of which, 24 were recorded in Kathmandu and one in Lalitpur districts.
