KATHMANDU, Aug 23: Nepal has won its second consecutive match in the T20 women's international series involving four countries.
In the second match of the ongoing series in Malaysia, Nepal defeated Kuwait by 34 runs on Wednesday. While chasing the target of 90 runs given by Nepal, Kuwait managed to score only 55 runs for the loss of eight wickets.
Zeefa Jilani scored 11 runs and Khadija Khali scored 10 runs for Kuwait.
Quadrangular T20 Series: Nepal restricts Ireland to 127 runs
Indu Barma took three wickets and Khushi Dangol took two wickets for Nepal.
Nepal, which batted earlier, scored 89 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Indu Barma scored 23 runs and Bindu Rawal scored 20 runs for Nepal.
Nepal defeated Hong Kong in the first match. The next match will be against Malaysia on August 25.
Nepal is playing a quadrilateral tournament in Malaysia in preparation for the Asia Qualifiers of the ICC T20 World Cup.
