Nepal Airlines prepares to operate Taplejung-Biratnagar flight

KATHMANDU, Jan 14: While Sita Air is making a schedule of Kathmandu-Taplejung-Kathmandu flights three days a week, Nepal Airlines has also prepared to operate Taplejung-Biratnagar flight apart from Kathmandu-Taplejung.

KATHMANDU, Jan 14: While Sita Air is making a schedule of Kathmandu-Taplejung-Kathmandu flights three days a week, Nepal Airlines has also prepared to operate Taplejung-Biratnagar flight apart from Kathmandu-Taplejung.



Lokendra Limbu, Station In-Charge of Nepal Airlines at Taplejung, said that a schedule is being made to fly Taplejung-Biratnagar at least one day a week within this week targeting the provincial capital. "The exact schedule has not arrived, but the Taplejung-Biratnagar flight schedule will come soon," Limbu said.

Limbu mentioned that the schedule of the Taplejung-Biratnagar flight is going to be prepared along with the flight schedule of TwinOtter aircraft of Nepal Airlines from Sukilumba airport in Ilam.


At present, Nepal Airlines is flying Kathmandu-Taplejung-Kathmandu. Sita Air has prepared to start Kathmandu-Taplejung-Kathmandu flight from January 18 at Suketar Airport in Taplejung. Before this, Sita Air was flying Kathmandu-Taplejung-Kathmandu, however that flight stopped for some time.
