KATHMANDU, July 27: The National Examinations Board (NEB) has publicized the results of this year's Secondary Education Examination (SEE). A board meeting of the NEB held on Wednesday decided to publish the results.

All SEE candidates can view their results on the official website of the NEB as well as through SMS and IVR. The Office of the Controller of Examinations has said that the results of regular and grade enhancement examinations can be viewed through the website, SMS and IVR.

Arrangements for non-grading have been made for this year's results. Unlike in the previous years, the NEB has made an arrangement not to assign any grade to those not achieving minimum marks as determined by the NEB in examinations. As the quality of learning is deteriorating due to the grading system, the ministry has emphasized on bringing the minimum marks at the school level.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the results were announced through internal evaluation for two years, but this year the NEB conducted the examination in the physical presence of the students from 22 April to 3rd May.

Examinations Controller Arjun Rayamazhi informed Republica that 257,924 female students and 257,053 male students of 11,615 schools participated in the examinations through 2,007 examination centers.
