NC-UML ready to continue CA process if consensus bid fails

KATHMANDU, April 19: Ruling parties Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) have decided to take the Constituent Assembly (CA) process ahead along with dialogue with opposition parties.

Speaking after a two-party meeting held at Prime Minister's official residence at Baluwatar today, CPN (UML) vice chairman Bhim Rawal said a decision was taken to continue the dialogue process with UCPN (Maoist) on the disputed issues, while the CA meeting would also be continued to finalize the disputed issues through due process.

NC President and Prime Minister Sushil Koirala and CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli were also present in the meeting. RSS
