NC to vote against motion  of confidence to be introduced by PM Dahal

KATHMANDU, Jan 8: Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to vote against the motion of confidence to be introduced by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal in the House of Representatives(HoR) on Tuesday.

KATHMANDU, Jan 8: Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to vote against the motion of confidence to be introduced by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal in the House of Representatives(HoR) on Tuesday.


Prime Minister Dahal is scheduled to propose a vote of confidence in the HoR on Tuesday. The NC is expected to oppose the leadership of Prime Minister Dahal, who has joined forces with the UML party.

A decision on this issue will be made at a meeting of the NC parliamentary party to be held at 9 am on Tuesday. NC General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has stated that the NC will sit on the opposition bench and that a formal decision to this effect will be taken by the PP meeting.


The meeting thanked the then government led by NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba for successfully conducting the local, provincial and House of Representatives elections and expressed gratitude to all the parties who helped to conduct the elections. The meeting thanked all the voters for making NC the first party.
