NC district chapters call for Parliamentary Board

KATHMANDU, Sept. 22: Presidents of seven district chapters of the Nepali Congress have urged the party leadership to settle the internal dispute of the party by forming a Parliamentary Board immediately.



At an interaction organized here Sunday, Kathmandu president of NC, Bhimsendas Pradhan, said that there was some differences among party leaders, but in overall there was no any problems and added that the difference would be resolved till Monday by holding discussion and talks on it. [break]



Stating that overall party rank and file should be engaged in election to the next Constituent Assembly (CA) by ending factionalism seen in the party immediately, Kaski President Yagya Bahadur Thapa, drew the attention of the party leadership to make candidates by satisfying all district presidents.



On the occasion, Dhading President Ramnath Adhikari, Chitwan President Tek Prasad Gurung, Arghakhanchi President Kamal Prasad Bhusal, Dadeldhura President Karna Bahadur Malla and Baglung President Prakash Sharma stressed that issues of candidates surfaced in the party should be finalized by forming the Parliamentary Board.
