NC candidate Dangol maintains lead in Kirtipur mayoral race

He holds a 514-vote lead over his closest rival, CPN-UML candidate Surendra Manandhar, who has 1,378 votes.

KATHMANDU, Dec 2: Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Krishna Man Dangol is leading the Kirtipur mayoral by-election with 1,892 votes as of the latest update. He holds a 514-vote lead over his closest rival, CPN-UML candidate Surendra Manandhar, who has 1,378 votes.


CPN (Maoist Center) candidate Shiva Sharan Maharjan follows in third with 1,188 votes. Independent candidates Rajman Maharjan and Dinesh Kumar Adhikari are in fourth and fifth places, with 736 and 642 votes respectively.
