KATHMANDU, April 29
A solo exhibition of paintings by Nepali female artist Sabita Dangol that started on April 11 concluded today at Siddhartha Art Gallery, Babar Mahal. Artist Dangol has tried to assess the actual ideas and imagination accepted by two couples in her solo exhibition.

According to her, she has used a comb (Kainyo) as a symbol to connect her paintings. Dangol said that the innumerable ornamental patterns and other various designs used in the paintings made her realize her own logic, arguments, and thoughts that were reflected in the paintings.
“In my journey of art, I had never thought about working alone focusing on the soul and mind. All aspects such as to feel, learn, acquire, cultivate and expand the knowledge are converged with regard to the soul,” Dangol said. She further added that some of her paintings are inclined toward nature while others are toward culture.
