NC President Sushil Koirala, senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba, Vice President Ram Chandra Paudel, General Secretary duo Prakash Man Singh and Krishna Prasad Sitaula and Treasurer Chitra Lekha Yadav are scheduled to reach various districts to address the party´s election rallies. The move by NC top leaders comes in the wake of the UCPN (Maoist) launching Mechi-Mahakali Election Awakening Campaign. Top three leaders including Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Dr Baburam Bhattarai and Narayan Kaji Shrestha are together addressing the party´s functions organized as a part of the party´s election campaign.
NC President Koirala completed his door-to-door campaign in constituency number 4 of Chitwan and constituency number 3 of Banke on Friday. He is now scheduled to address election rallies in various parts of the country.
According to Koirala´s personal aide Laxman Dhakal, Koirala is scheduled to address an election rally in Dang on Saturday. Likewise, he will address party´s functions in Bardiya on Sunday and Sankhuwasabha on Wednesday. He is also scheduled to take part in the party´s district level functions on Monday and Tuesday.
Senior leader Deuba, who completed door-to-door campaign in his constituencies, is also scheduled to address election rallies in various districts outside Kathmandu. While he addressed election rally in Palpa on Friday, Deuba is addressing election rallies in various parts of Kanchanpur on Saturday and Sunday.
According to his personal aide Bhanu Deuba, Sher Bahadur is scheduled to address party´s rallies in Achham, Bajhang, Baitadi and Dadeldhura on Monday and Tuesday. He is scheduled to address election rallies in other districts as well.
As the election is just 11 days away, Vice President Paudel is also scheduled to address election rally in Pokhara on Saturday, and in Khotang and Okhaldhunga on Sunday. He is also scheduled to address election rallies in other districts including Kapilbastu, Nawalparasi, Makawanpur, Sunsari, Siraha, Saptari, Dhanusha and Udayapur.
Likewise, General Secretary Singh is scheduled address election rallies in the neighboring districts of Kathmandu while another general secretary Sitaula will reach neighboring district of Jhapa to address the party´s election rallies. NC youth leader Gagan Thapa has already addressed election rallies in Bara and Dhanusha. He is also scheduled to visit various eastern hill districts including Sankhuwasabha to address rallies.
