The restart of banking services at Dumre will directly facilitate NBL customers in 40 VDCs of Tanahun, Gorkha and Lamjung, according to a press release. Narahari Dhakal, coordinator of the NBL Management Committee had inaugurated the reinstated branch Thursday.
Addressing the function, he stated that the bank aims to launch new programs in the rural parts of the country in partnership with community organizations and other micro-credit organizations in an effort to make its services pro-poor.
NBL Chief Executive Dr Binod Atreya, on the other hand, said that the bank would gradually reinstate its branches, which were relocated during conflict days, back to their original places. As the bank is rapidly computerizing its branches, the people of the area would also be able to enjoy modern banking services through NBL, he stated.

KATHMANDU, May 15: Kathmandu Power Solutions has introduced a series of Birla Power GenSets to the local market, keeping in mind the power crisis faced by the country.
Currently, the company has introduced four different models of ´silent-type´ GenSets, which are both economical in terms of fuel consumption, while being environmentally-friendly.
Birla Power GenSets have set the standard in the manufacturing of generators since its inception and have received World Standard Performance Marks of ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001.
Skoda´s exchange offer

The newly facelifted standard version of the 2009 Laura comes fully loaded with unique features like full leather interior and eight-speaker surround sound system, among others. Similarly, Octavia is the most economical luxury car with the lowest cost performance ratio.
Both these diesel cars have TDI engines and the highest fuel efficiency of 16 and 15 km per liter, respectively, the release added.
