Nat'l Table Tennis Championship kicks off in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, July 21: A five-day National Table Tennis Championship has kicked off at Lainchaur, Kathmandu from Tuesday.

Vice-President of the National Sports Council, Lama Tendi Shepra inaugurated the competition jointly organized by the All Nepal Table Tennis Association (ANTTA) and Kathmandu District Table Tennis Association.


The competition, organized with an objective to raise fund for the quake-hit table tennis players in the national squad, will see 11 different events at the National Table Tennis Training Center in Lainchaur, shared Dharmaman Bajracharya, Chairperson of the ANTTA.

Three events will be held in the veterans category whereas the competition will also see matches in the men's single, women's single, men's double and women's double. RSS
