DHADING, July 4: The Narayangarh-Mugling road section has been blocked again due to continuous landslides in the area. According to Surya Bahadur Thapa, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Chitwan the road section in Setidobhan at Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29 was blocked by a landslide due to heavy rainfall in the region. Although the roadway was cleared for operations on Saturday, it was blocked by landslides again last night around 9 PM.
As stated by Thapa, clearance of debris from the road has been affected by continuous sliding of mud and landslides. The road was previously blocked by landslides on Thursday and was cleared by Saturday afternoon on one side of the road to allow vehicles to pass.
Landslides block various roads in Makwanpur
On the other hand, mud and debris from Prithvi Highway has been cleared and one-way operations have resumed.
