NAMS padlock opened

KATHMANDU, Sept 6: The National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), which had remained padlocked for the past 10 days by the agitating employees of the academy was reopened on Thursday after the Bir Hospital assured them of resolving the dispute through dialogue.



The agitating employees had padlocked the adademy demanding stern action against the Dr Jeetendra Chaudhary of Gastroenterology Department of manhandling Rector Dr Shree Krishna Giri. [break]



The agitating employees had also been demanding resignation of Vice Chancellor of the academy for his failure to take action against the guilty.
