KATHMANDU, August 10: CPN-UML lawmaker Mahesh Basnet has requested the government to immediately suspend Attorney General Khamba Bahadur Khati.
Basnet has accused Attorney General Khati of committing fraud while in office.

He said, “Such a controversial personality, such a fraudster, and such a criminal should not be kept under any circumstances in a dignified position like the Attorney General of the Government of Nepal. Hence, I would like to make a sincere request to the Prime Minister to immediately suspend Khamba Bahadur Khati from his post.”
