Model Asmi Shrestha, unlike her day-to-day catwalk performance on the fashion show, performed a dance to the song 'Dadhelo Lagyo'. She performed various dance steps during a five-minute show.
Likewise, Srijana Regmi, who has been walking on the ramp for the last three years, crooned a Gajal 'Ishwara' dedicated to her mother while Kritima Rimal, 23, recited a poem titled 'Me Woman and My Identity' on violence against women.
"I have composed this poem on the violence against women with an intention to prod the concerned bodies to act upon it," Rimal told Republic Online.
Namrata Shrestha, 19, performed a belly dance while Anshu KC presented a sketch to describe a plight inflicted by the devastating earthquake that struck on April 25 last year through different colors.
On the Talent Show event, the participants had exhibited their hidden talents through dance, poetry recitation, song and speech.
Roshani Khatri, 20, an IT student, had acted on the song 'Ali Ali Pida' by Nabin K Bhattarai.
"This time the participants got sufficient time to prepare for the Talent Show Round. Most of the participants performed dances during the show," organizer of the Miss Nepal 2016 Gopal Sundar Lal Kakshapati told Republica Online.
According to him, the participants are being groomed and trained in various aspects of personality and leadership development for the last six months.
As many as 19 contestants took part in the Talent Show Round. Singer Sumina Moktan, Choreographer Rebesha Rai, Suman Maharjan, Manabi Shah Bista, and Saroj Tamrakar were the judges of the Talent Show Round.
The grand finale of the Miss Nepal 2016 will be held at Annapurna Hotel on April 8. This year, the participants are from different locations including Pokhara, Chitwan, Nepalgunj, Dharan, Biratnagar and Butwal.
As per the criteria + graduates aged between 19 to 24 can take part in the Miss Nepal pageant.
Organized by The Hidden Treasure, the Miss Nepal Peasant 2016 is the 21st edition of the contest.

Ashma KC, Kritima Rimal, Sajum Katuwal, Sachina Shrestha, Jubi Joshi, Ayushma Shrestha, Roshani Khatri, Soniya Sharma, Anshu KC, Kushum Thapa Magar, Asmi Shrestha, Karuna Khadka, Anita Karki, Barsha Lekhi, Sandipa Limbu, Srijana Regmi, Pratibha Dawadi, Namrata Shrestha and Prerana Adhikari are the contestants of the pageant.
Choreographer Rachana Gurung Sharma has been imparting training to them.
