KALIKOT, July 23: A 16-year-old girl has been raped in Kalikot. Police have arrested 21-year-old Nabin Raj Baduwal of Kankasundari Rural Municipality-5 in Jumla on the charge of rape.
According to Poshan Thapa, Information Officer of District Police Office, Kalikot, Baduwal raped the girl at 11:00 PM on July 20.

Baduwal is a tractor driver. According to the police, he went to the victim's house in Tilagufa municipality and committed the crime.
Baduwal has been remanded in custody for five days, while the girl has been handed over to her relatives after a health check-up, according to the District Police Office, Kalikot.
