Gaushala, March 8: A teenage girl has died under mysterious circumstances this morning at Pipara VDC of Mahottari district.
The deceased has been identified as 17 – year – old Kajal Kumari Mahaseth, daughter of Rajendra Mahaseth, of Pipara – 5, District Police Office Mahottari said.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Deepak Pokharel, said the teenage girl had gone to sleep after dinner last night but was found hanging from the ceiling in a room adjacent to her bedroom this morning.
She had a noose made from her shawl wrapped around her neck and found hanging in a nearby room which has made the death all the more suspicious. This has prompted the police to start an investigation. Her body will be taken to District Hospital Jaleshwor for an autopsy, police said. RSS
