KATHMANDU, Sept 17: Two parliamentary committees are holding a meeting today. The meeting of the Industry and Commerce and Labor and Consumer Interest Committee commenced at 11AM.
In the meeting, the petition received from the Forum for Protection of Consumer Rights regarding the supply management of food items including sugar, rice and other daily consumables is being discussed with the stakeholders.
Similarly, discussion on the formation of a sub-committee related to arrears audit is underway in the meeting of the Public Accounts Committee.
