Maoist leader Barshaman Pun leaves for Thailand for treatment

KATHMANDU, Sept 29: CPN (Maoist Center) standing committee member Barshaman Pun left for Thailand today.

He flew to Thailand this morning along with his wife and former speaker Onsari Gharti Magar. Former Finance and Energy Minister Pun has been suffering from jaundice for a long time.

He was treated at Sumeru Hospital in Lalitpur after he developed high blood pressure and had vomiting and high fever.

According to the doctors involved in the treatment, Pun has been suffering from a hereditary condition.
