Maoist general convention on Jan 29

KATHMANDU, Aug 2: The central committee meeting of Unified CPN-Maoist that concluded on Saturday has decided to convene the party´s general convention on January 29, 2010. The party, however, is yet to decide the venue for and length of the event.



The party has not held its general convention for the last 18 years. The central committee meeting that lasted for about a month had earlier decided to adopt multi-post system in the party.
