Maoist Chairman Dahal in Dharan to attend party’s functions

Dharan, August 26: Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal arrived in Dharan today.

Surya Bahadur Bhattarai (Manoj), Dharan Sub-metropolitan City Chapter President of the Maoist Center, said that he will participate in two programs in Dharan.

Dahal will participate in the meeting of Central Committee members of Province No. 1 in Dharan. The meeting is scheduled to be held at Hotel Dharan Kitchen located at Dharan 15.

President Bhattarai said Chairman Dahal will then participate in the commemoration ceremony organized by J B Tuhure Memorial Foundation at Bhanu Chowk in Dharan at around 4 PM.

“So far, the party is aware that Chairman Dahal will be participating in the meeting of the central members of Province 1 and the program of the JB Tuhure Memorial Foundation. I don't know about other programs," said president Bhattarai.

A program is being held today at Bhanu Chowk in memory of the late JB Tuhure (Juth Bahadur Khadgi), who started the journey of song and music from Dharan. The JB Tuhure Memorial Foundation said that it will honor composer and lyricist Love Pradhan as well.
