Mandala Theatre-Nepal is officially opening its new and comprehensive theatre space 'New Mandala' on Thursday. The new theatre space is located at Thapagaun, Kathmandu.
‘Antigone’ in Mandala Theatre
According to the statement on Mandala's official website, it claims to have the largest high-quality independent theatre hall in Nepal with a capacity of around 200 audiences. It added that they have classrooms equipped with all required facilities and dormitories for residential artists.
On the inauguration day, Rajan Khatiwada's directorial ‘Rogan’ is being performed. It features passed out students of Mandala Theatre of the eighth batch, who graduated a year ago.
The play is scheduled to run from March 4 to March 27 at 5 pm except on Mondays and with a matinee show on Saturdays at 1 pm.
