The arrested is 20-year-old Sanjaya Mandal known to be Ghuska.
Polie nabbed him with automated pistol and four rounds of bullet acting on a special tip off, said Police Inspector at Area Police Office, Michaiya, Hari Khatiwada.
He said Mandal had already served two year jail-term on a rape case.
